33 Russian participants at the 6th laboratory workshop of infraTest Prüftechnik GmbH and IBQ in Remseck
“I am overwhelmed by the enormous interest, commitment and professional know-how,” says Sales Director Stefan Dräger at the 6th laboratory workshop for the Russian specialist audience. On February 4th and 5th, 2020, infraTest Prüftechnik, IBQ Remseck and the Russian ASPOR (Center for International Cooperation and Studies of the Russian Road Construction Association) organized a laboratory workshop with lectures and a practical laboratory session on the differences between Russian and German standards in asphalt and bitumen testing.
“Live demonstrations, independent work and trying out are the most sustainable value of such events,” explains Dr Martin Haberl speaking on the American SuperPave program and Marshall test method. “In cooperation with IBQ, we are proud to present a fully equipped test laboratory for the participants, which does show almost all possible asphalt and bitumen tests,” adds Dräger. The further development of road testing technology and the use of modified asphalt mix producers are the present challenges. In response to the digitalization and simplification of processes, infraTest developed the modular extraction system PURE and the BBR (Bending Beam Rheometer), which were examined during the workshop too.
